Post Modern Work, “Layered 5 van Gogh” by David Bridburg
In the artist’s words, “finding the juxtaposition of the Roses and Irises against Vincent van Gogh’s Almond Blossoms was magic. Finding the correct colors took work. This is a part of my larger series of Beautiful Layered images.”
David Bridburg is an American artist trained at UCONN in the fine arts. Post Modern art is at once ground breaking while being an enigma based on prior works of art. The results can be a beautiful aesthetic or in the realm of political statement. Using digital tools, Post Modern artists have a well spring of materials and ideas.
